The Evening Reception Disco

- You have the choice of the stylish Platinum Wedding Disco or our new Rustic Wooden Disco for up to 5 hours finishing by midnight.
- We will provide high-quality equipment for the best sound for your venue.
- Use our online music database before the big day to choose any music you would like via your own personal VIP Client Area.
- We will take requests from your guests.
- Leave the important announcements to us! - We love the first dance, we'll make sure your guests know it's about to take place.

12ft x 12ft White Dance Floor.
- The dance floor is where the action takes place. Capture those special photos on our gorgeous high-gloss white floor.

Your Name In Light.
- See your names in light, projected by our high-powered white light fixture.
- Choose from over 20 designs and customise them to be personal to you.
- As a thank you, we'll present the gobo in a display frame for you to keep after the big day.

Giant LOVE Letters.
- The 4ft Love letters are very eye-catching! Have your guests mesmerised by the built-in patterns they can produce and the beautiful colours.
- The letters are dimmable so they do not flood light the dance floor.

- A box of props to let users dress up in funny wigs, hats, and glasses while holding our signs.
- People are invited back to use the booth as much as they like. We offer unlimited use with a photo printed each time!
- Be sure everything is under control as we provide an attendant to keep the booth running smoothly.

Vintage Sweet Cart.
- Have up to 10 different sweets displayed on our very nice white vintage Sweet Cart.
- The sweets are stored in our large, medium and small jars.
- We'll provide tongs and scoops so you and your guests can tuck in.
- Sweet bags will also be provided.
- All sweets will come with a tag board so your guests can see what the sweets are.
- We take any allergens and the ingredients of the confectionery seriously. There will be a printed book with the cart so anyone with any concerns can read it and will be able to easily identify the sweets/doughnuts easily with numbers, names and pictures. This will also be sent to you in advance of the big day so you can double-check beforehand.

Some may ask why the price is high, and this is a fair question, something that could be asked by clients. We like to suggest that you shop around and find a deal as good as the package we are able to offer you. Here are some points to show why our services are competitively priced, and very good value for money.
You are not hiring a product but a person and their service.
That DJ will have varying levels of skill and experience. This will have a direct effect on the success of your wedding.
Preparation
Gary, the owner of Oxford Discos will spend in the region of 10 plus hours to put together our complex Whole Day Wedding Package...and that is before the big day! Gary will be preparing the music is correct and from what we will have discussed during your wedding meeting and also according to your and guest requests in the VIP Client Area. - Comparing this to the companies that do not prepare, a DJ turns up on the night without a clue of your names, unsure of the first dance, or your preferred music tastes and not quite sure if they're in the correct venue!
On the day, we shall be at your venue to build up the equipment and test it. In many cases, we arrive the day before to build the equipment up. We do not like to rush or make mistakes.
DJ's
There is a huge difference in the quality of DJs! Why would you pay the same for a DJ who has a big ego, knows best over you because "Everybody knows him", "Dj'd a few nights in town", Doesn't need to prepare because he can "read the crowd like an open book", "Loves it loud because loud must mean better", and "Can MC too if the music is right!" but most importantly fails to prepare for your day?
Equipment
The DJ is the most important part of a great disco, but that DJ also needs good tools to perform... the equipment! We can not see the benefits of having the best music when it is played through a cheap, distorted sound system which promotes microphone feeding back? - You may as well wave your guests goodbye by 10 pm.
Often the importance of the lighting equipment is overlooked by most and the appreciation of how lighting has a very important and big visual impact on the appearance and atmosphere. Cheap disco lighting left to run by itself looks great during music with a fast beat but often looks out of place, especially during a first dance which we have seen ruined by strobing light. It removes any chance of a romantic setting and can cause issues with photography. - For this reason, we use intelligent lighting that we control. The right light effect, brightness and speed to help build the atmosphere, not ruin it.
Costings
The quality of the equipment has also got to be reflected in the price because, at the end of the day, we are a business. You are not going to pay the same for a company supplying £1,500 worth of equipment compared to a company that is proud of its reputation, and that supplies £20,000+ worth of equipment.
